This is a terrible washer.It shakes and squeals like crazy.We have a wood floor (installed in 2006), and apparently you cannot put this washer on a wood floor.Or course--no one told us this, and it does not specifically warn against putting the washer on a wood floor in the manual.It simply says that "the floor must be strong and rigid enough to support the weight of the washer when fully loaded, without flexing or bouncing."The washer shakes so much that it moves between two and five inches every time we run a load.Our floor is perfectly level, and a repair technician verified that the washer was level.It's just an awful design.The repair technician said that the squealing noise is normal.It sounds like there's a train going through our house.Do not waste your money.
